Finally.. the Garden Project Took Off!!

After 3 failed attempt in obtaining a quotation from 3 different parties that hubby call to come to our house, we end up engaging the nursery near our area to do the garden (grass + landscaping). We stopped at the nursery on Sat last week around noon, and kak wati from the nursery came to our house arond 5.30pm to discuss the concept. The next day, she came to give the quotation and hubby agreed with her price (RM3 per sq ft to do EVERYTHING, considering our land now is in a forest-like state :P). That afternoon her worker came to spray the land and everything on it with Roundup.

2 days after that they cleared the land, all the lalang and semak samun is gone.. and the land looked totally cleared that the neighbour make a remark.. yeahhh right considering they are the one complaining about the semak samun to the Majlis Bandaran Sepang (we received a notice from them to clear our land the week before and I really dont think the Majlis people are soo rajin to come and round every house, UNLESS they receive a complain... such a useless neighbour).

On Friday, they delivered the grass (hubby choose pearl grass) and yesterday they brought the plants (bonsai, different types of heliconias, iris and other trees or plant that name I do not know) to be planted on the garden.. together with heaps of earth, sand, pebbles, black soil, and the slates. They planted some of the plants on Sat and arranged the slates at the area near the porch. We cant park our car inside now as it is full of everything that I desribed above. The porch are really messy now and even our sandal is full of earth stuck to it that make the porch even dirtier.

Today, they have added the earth to level the land and covered with sand the places to be planted with grass and for the plants, they added the top soil. By afternoon, they've started laying the grass on the sand with hubby monitoring and instructing them. They've put the slates into place too and it did looked nice on the grass.

They will continue the work on Tuesday since tomorrow is a public holiday. Cant wait to see the completed project. It will definitely look nice. At least compared to the forest-state like before :P
