6 months and counting..

I had heartburn since yesterday.. the feeling when something spicy you ate keep hovering at your throat and threaten to come out to the mouth.. not a nice feeling.

Baby has started kicking since she's about 20 weeks old.. and actively kicking nowadays.. and oh yes, the baby is a GIRL according to the Doc Raja Juhaidah. We did a scan again on 25 September and this time the doc confirmed that it is a girl. During the last scan the baby put her hand between her legs hence doc cannot confirmed but she already wrote it in the card that she's a girl. The doc is that confident :)

Now about Faris. Yesterday he screamed like mad when I switched off the TV when he was watching his cartoon.. and it was already 12 midnite! and he refused to sleep. He watched the tv on his own, alone at the family area. And I was worried to leave him alone so I carried him inside and he kept crying and waking up everybody in the process. I gave up and switched on the tv again and he continue to watch the tv.

He only agree to come inside when there's a loud sound of firecracker and daddy scared him with it. By the time he slept, it is already 12.30am.. hmmm..

Faris now likes to draw with the crayon, pen, pencil and anything that he can find. He draw on paper, in his book, on the bedsheet, on the pillow, on his pants and even on his own feet! He's tall enough now to reach for things previously not reachable, like daddy's pen on the dressing table. He can even climb on the chair to reach for things we want to take. So now everything has got to be kept at a higher place, including all the scissors, medication, his milk powder.. everything.

He can count 1 to 20 and he likes all things train. His favourite cartoon is Chuggington, favourite toy is Thomas. He likes to arrange things, esp his toys.. side by side, 1 long line.. I have no idea kids can be systematic that early!

We weaned him off his chot chot (pacifier) on the first day of raya, 11 September 2010. He cried and scream and shout for 2 consecutive nites during raya and keeping everybody's up. Now he is OK and had forgotten about his chot chot :) Since he's off his chot chot he drank milk more than usual and a 650g packet of milk will only last 4 days. He's on Enfagrow A+ now, from Isomil and before that Similac. Milk is sooo expensive. I bought the 1.3kg box (650g packet x 2)for RM69.95 at Speedmart. We might start the baby with Enfalac later.

The headache has improved, it doesnt occur as often as before, but I still dont feel well some times.

I dont eat chicken now, coz I feel loya after eating it, and I dont drink hot tea anymore as it left a bitter taste in my tongue after drinking it. I dont use cili sos and sambal kicap when eating. I cant eat that much rambutan anymore, and I craved for durian!! Unfortunately hubby doesnt allow me to buy durian or I'll finished the whole fruit by myself :)I need to have a big breakfast. A few pieces of goreng pisang simply wont be enough nowadays. Some times I will go to the canteen on my own to have mihun goreng. I like drinking cold, sweet and sourish drink like Twister orange and air limau.

I slept very early, some days as early as 9.30pm, earlier than Faris :) Talking about Faris, he is starting to show his temper and tantrum. He can shout real loud and refused to obey instruction. I spank him on the butt & feet sometimes.. gerammm!
He can saya a few words in a sentence now, like "daddy work office" and he likes to jump. He'll count, 1, 2, jump! He will also ask us to come with him, saying "come, come, jayan-jayan (jalan-jalan)" and "yo (video") when he want us to put on his video.

We did a scan yesterday and saw the baby moving. The baby is about 2 months now and EDD given by the doctor is 31 Dec 2010!! Wow... 1 day lapse and the baby will be born in another year! I hope the baby will come on time or earlier :)After all Faris was 3 weeks early :)

I dont feel well. It's after lunch and I feel slightly loya, the headache is there and I feel like I dont have the energy. I ate soto at Restoren Soto seksyen 8 for lunch and even the soto doesnt taste as good as before in my tekak. I am sure there's nothing wrong with the soto, only with my tekak.

I told Odah about my pregnancy when I met her after lunch at the carpark and she was soooo excited that she went all red.. hmmm I wonder who's the one pregnant here? :P

Last nite we received news that my father in law is in a bad health and 2 out of 3 of his arteries are blocked and he might be operated on. Felt so stressed out by the news and also thinking about my work problem and hubby's reporting to the previous boss. That in turn make me worried about the baby in my tummy and keep praying that he or she is ok. If anything happen to he/she I will be so frustrated. After all the happiness of hearing that I am pregnant.

I started feeling giddy in the early morning, since yesterday. I thought it will only be yesterday coz I didnt eat anything before going to work. Bibik said gas dah habis, so she's not able to goreng pisang or keledek or keladi as usual. But today also I had headache and my throat feel so dry eventho I've taken enough water.

I had a bad dream last nite. Maybe because I was thinking too much about work related problem that I'm facing right now.

Oh we had gone for a scan on Monday when we took leave coz hubby got to attend court in the morning. We went to see Dr. Raja Juhaidah at Columbia Asia, Puchong, the same doctor and place where Faris was delivered. Doc said only the 'sarung' can be seen because it's still early. She ask to come in another 2 weeks time by which time we should be able to see the baby's heartbeat.

And we were thinking of what to name the baby.....

It's my birthday! Early morning after I wake up I immediately did the P test that hubby bought yesterday at Klinik Keluarga after we failed to locate any farmasi in Bukit Gambir open for business. Yesterday was Labour Day anyway. I think hubby's more anxious than me to know the result. Well... there's 2 lines :)

It's only a few days earlier that hubby mentioned to me, eh you dah berapa hari due period? and I said I will check my planner. When I check it's already 6 days due as my normal cycle would be around 30 days. After that we didnt have time to go and buy the P test and I rasa cam suspen all the time :P

And I tiup lilin on the choc indulgence cake that hubby bought at Secret Recipe Muo with Faris. There's 5 candles on the cake and I wonder why hubby ask for 5? Faris was so excited that dgn air liur2 dia sekali tersembur atas kek hahaha... but nobody's complaining about the taste of the cake hahaha.. rasa puas hati coz the cake nearly finished by the time we want to go back to KL.. tak sesia hubby beli kek S.R. yg makin lama makin mahal tu..
We went back to KL at 6.30pm and on the way breast/areola area start berdenyut2, rasa perit.. I had it the last time I was pregnant with Faris so I know more or less what to expect this time.

Faris - 1 year 9 months

What can he do now? Well.. a lot! He can pinch mummy or push his nail into mummy's fleshy flesh (his nail is so sharp mind you) or scratch whatever he can put his hands on when he's mad. He can scream non-stop at a very high pitch voice too.. o o.. who taught him all these I wonder..

On the bright side, he now can say mummy, daddy clearly from when he's 1 year 8 months.. altho daddy will sound like "dadi" and not "de-di" and similarly "baby" will sound like "ba-bi"! O ooo.. he can say 2 words now, like, "Naaa.. eat!" when he's asking his Acik Na to come down & eat.

He also can ask us to switch on his video for him to see and will watch faithfully until the end of it.. if we refuse to put it on he will keep saying "yo" "yo" and will pull our hands till I get irritated and would have no choice but to accomodate his request. It's really funny seeing him moving his head along with the music and sometimes smile to himself! He likes to sing too.. he's favourite song would be the "Wheel of the Bus Goes Round & Round" whereby he will clearly say the last line i.e. "All Day Longggg... " although the "Long" will sound like "Tong"!

He's able to expertly play with the shape sorter now.. but everytime we want to take a video of him doing that, he'll stop playing and come to us instead to see the image in the camera/phone.. hmmm..

Last weekend we bought a tri-cycle for him from Jusco, yellow and orange color costs RM69.90. For now he has to be helped to get on & off the tri-cycle and he has difficulty reaching the floor.. but we guess he'll grow tall in no time and that shouldnt be a problem anymore.

Yesterday, he kept throwing everything in the car when mummy pick him up from the babysitter and he got pinched by mummy for that. Obviously the pain is not that bad coz he was just laughing.. hmmm..
